About Time

I finally came up with an idea for NaNoWriMo in month and a third.  Basically, it's set in the same universe as Project Armageddon, but maybe a hundred or so years prior to the events of the Project.  The general idea is that humanity, for the most part (that's important), abandoned Earth due to excess pollution and radiation after multiple nuclear wars.  Several hundred years later, they return.

And that's it so far...  no idea what all's going to happen, but that's what I have so far!

National Novel Writing Month

So, for the fifth year in a row, I shall attempt NaNoWriMo.  I say 'attempt.'  Victory is not certain in the best of conditions, which mine are certainly better than most this year, but even with good conditions previous years I have failed to achieve the elusive 50K.  This year should be different.  This year I'm going to have a novel idea ready before November.  There's only one problem...

I don't have a novel idea yet!  I just started the novel I was going to write in November (Project Armageddon, description on my NaNo page http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/user/585665) because I got a burst of inspiration for it (Man Halo is an awesome game).

So now I have Operation Venus as a possibility, but to be honest, I don't have that one planned out particularly well.

Other than that...  I got nothing.  I have less than two months so I need to get working at this.  I'm thinking something farther in the future, simply because it will require less research.  It's possible I'm going to get more inspiration for my military science fiction side of things because I'm renting a Halo game.  Those usually give me plenty of ideas.  So I'll just have to wait and see.

And so it begins...

I seem to have a relatively easy school schedule this year, seeing as I finished my schoolwork this morning in less than 3 hours.  So yeah.  My history course is awesome! : D

I hate...

Ear infections!  With a fiery, burning passion!

Guess why I can't get to sleep! : )

And I'm tired too... >.<

So then...

A bit late, so I'm sure my two followers both know by now!  But I finally have internet again.  And I found out today that my netbook will soon be fixed, so I shall be able to post with much speed!  As I cannot with this dino-dell.  Anyway, second blog post, two weeks after the first, woot!
